I have always thought I would live to be 86… but now I would like to hit 90.
Do you have a fantasy funeral?
My mother in law was an amazing woman and her funeral was so lovely. Simple with just a few speeches from her kids and grandkids and a large party after. It was so full of people from different parts of her life. So much maintained connection right till the end. Goals.
What scares you the most about dying?
Not getting to see my kids thrive
What would your 3 pieces of wisdom be for the those left behind
1) Do the right thing - it takes so much less energy then stressing cause you didn’t
2) call your family and friends - especially the old ones
3) Put fun on the list
If you had a destination funeral where would it be?
I wouldn’t have a destination funeral … but if I had to have one… Australia, where I have family and friends
Where would you want your ashes spread?
I would want my family and close friends to each spread a little bit of my ashes somewhere close by that they like to visit

I do - kind of… not the movie kind, but the energy, memory kind

I hit the jackpot this time around … so hard to say…maybe a quiet life as a male craftsman, someone slow and deliberate and centered ? maybe a pampered house cat ?

This is the hardest question on this list ..but I guess; good-mother, good-partner, good-friend…

My family helped me the most
How was navigating the funeral home system and what’s your advice? Hard and expensive… I kept thinking what a burden it would be on a family with tight resources
If you were to give someone 1 piece of advice on grief what would it be?
Savor it a bit.. don’t rush through it.
