Bud Vase in Black/Blue 

Small bud vase made out of local stoneware clay and soda fired. After forming, the pieces are coated in a slip made of local clay with added cobalt colorant; this reacts with the soda ash in the kiln, turning into a range of metallic to rocky blacks, with some occasional blue poking through. Not every piece will have the whole range of surfaces, but I'll try to add a mix of surfaces in each order. Price for each vase, photo of multiple to show variation. Size is approximately 3-3.5” tall
