Obituary
Robert was a beloved son, cherished brother, and devoted uncle. Rob was the life and soul of the party, a person whose magnetic presence brought love, laughter, and liveliness wherever he went. Rob was funny - and not just a little funny but inappropriately, sarcastically, and hilariously funny. He was insatiably curious about the world, a seasoned and adventurous traveler, and he constantly challenged himself to be a better person. Robert was incredibly intelligent but never assumed to know more than he did, on a lifelong journey to read, study, and learn about truly everything. He loved all dogs he met and some cats. Robert loved nice dinners, expensive hotels, rare wine, light beer, and long books about overly specific topics. He was also interested in house plants, though his track record in keeping them healthy was decidedly mixed. He was born and raised in Buffalo, NY, but embraced New York City as his true home. He remained a devoted Bills fan throughout his life. We will never forget the impact he had on our lives.
Although his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the memories and stories he created will remain with us forever. We will remember him for the beautiful full life he lived and the wonderful person he was.
He leaves behind his father, Robert Olivieri (Maddie Burgio), mother Mary Ramsay (Robert), siblings and partners, Emily, Callum, Josh, Margaret, Rachel, John, Chris, and four beautiful nieces/lovies June, Florence, Blaire, and Margot. In addition, Rob had a huge network of friends and colleagues who he loved, cherished, and respected.
Rest peacefully, Rob. We never had the chance to say goodbye, but we will spend the rest of our lives carrying your love and your memory with us.

Rob was certainly that spark in the dark for me, and certainly one of the most brilliant minds I’ve encountered. I’ll miss his warmth & his cheeky laughs. The world feels a lot less flavorful without you.
Some people come into your life...
Some people come into your life and leave a big mark and Rob was one of those people. I’ll always treasure the conversations and the laughter we shared. Yours was far too short a life but my gosh you filled it to the brim. Sending so much love to everyone who misses him. The world isn’t the same without him in it. I’ll always remember you.

My deepest condolences to the family. Rob was an amazing guy, amazing colleague, I have never seen him having an issue with anybody. Rob was always upbeat, I never heard him complaining. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a good man. Rob, we will miss you man.

Rob was a ball of light that radiates so much life and joy. He makes everyone in his orbit feel seen and loved. Despite being a massive nerd, he could charm any room he walked in. I miss the silly things we would talk about. I miss the hunger he had for life and for the world.

FB, the only name I ever...
FB, the only name I ever knew to call him from the time I met him nearly 20 years ago, aka Fun Bobby, was truly a rarity in our industry. His warmth, kindness, and respect for others set him apart. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and respected, regardless of who they were. I was incredibly lucky to know him not only as a client, but as a friend. I had the chance to experience his intelligence, his curiosity, his adventurous spirit, and, of course, his incredible sense of fun up close, including an unforgettable trip to South Africa where he and Skrown somehow managed to leave me waiting in Johannesburg for an entire day. To this day, it’s still one of the funniest international travel experiences of my life, and a memory I’ll always cherish. FB, you were a rare treasure with a beautiful heart. You brought warmth and joy into an industry that could always use more of both. You will be deeply missed by so many.

Robert was a wonderful friend growing up. Together with David Mayer, we shared many laughs and fun memories that will last a lifetime. I cherish our time together. Especially mini hockey, water basketball, golf, and a trip to Lake George

Dear Mary and Bob — We were so sorry to hear about Robert. I remember the day he was born! My favorite memory of him was when he asked you what a credit card was, and you went into a long explanation of how you can buy things and pay later. He replied, “Oh, I thought a credit card was a rectangle.” He was one of the smartest kids I ever knew! This is so devastating for all of you.
