Obituary
Paul passed away suddenly, leaving behind a community of family and friends who will deeply miss him. Services will be private.
Paul was an avid Yankee fan and season ticket holder and had a passion for comedy. He was involved in numerous media hoaxes with Alan Abel in the 80's and 90's that garnered national attention, and was an active member of SAG. Paul loved to travel, journeying to the Iditarod Sled Dog Race in Alaska, Vietnam, and Glasgow, among many other destinations.
Paul is predeceased by his parents Paul and Audrey Hiatt, and his Aunt Agnes Ahlmeyer. He is survived by his sisters Nancy Hiatt of Wayne and Linda Hiatt-Pinkall (Albert) of Colleyville, TX; his brother Alan Hiatt of NJ; his niece Kelsey Knights (Zachary) of Plymouth, MA; his nephew Ryan Pinkall of Los Angeles; and his great-grandniece Riley and great-grandnephew Sullivan.
In true Paul fashion, his final outing was spent at Yankee Stadium, cheering on his beloved team — a perfect reflection of the spirited, one-of-a-kind man he was.
